Cory blew out his ACL and MCL, as well as tore his miniscus. Hey will need surgery. Mom is taking him to see Dr. Maloney (he did my ACLR surgery) on Thursday for a consult. We'll decide based on that consult what the next step is.
As far as the move, it's just me and my oldest boy Chris (20) down here now. We found a 3 br/2 ba house w/2-car garage on 1.25 acres, in the "country" (as "country" as you can get here anyway). Not bad, but I sure do miss NY! IT"S HOT AS HELL DOWN HERE!!! But, we'll survive. Cameron was in a car accident right before I left and fractured his pelvis - but it doesn't seem serious - nothing has moved and he can walk. He was a passenger in a car w/friends and the kid driving crashed into a pole on Cameron's side of the car. Everyone else is ok.
So, just trying to get settled in here and get up to speed with the Army, everything seems to be going ok. Will be back in NY from June 22-July 1st to move everything else down, maybe we'll see everyone if we get a chance. Won't know about deployment until October, but confirmed that Afghanistan if we do go. I hope not, but if so, then so be it. I knew it was a possibility when I signed up for this gig.
How's business? Hopefully you've got plenty of work and are making some money! Thanks for checking up on us! Take care, and we'll see ya'll sometime down the road.
